Hi, I’m Rachael — a former management consultant now co-owner of Hurstworks, Lyona and Wellness 34, three independent businesses based on Hurstpierpoint High Street that I rebuilt and now run with my husband.

My true passion lies in revitalising the high street with businesses that genuinely benefit the local community. I am committed to creating spaces that address people’s real needs – whether that’s through meaningful wellness services, locally sourced products, or warm, inviting areas for gathering.

My next project is a business club aimed at supporting entrepreneurs in building sustainable businesses by providing the tools, mindset, and support they need to grow without burning out. I’ve seen firsthand how isolating entrepreneurship can be, and I want to change that.

Outside work, life is vibrant and full! I enjoy spending time with my husband and our twin boys, and when I’m not in the high street, you’ll often find me outdoors. I’ve even participated in assault course races for the challenge (and the mud!).
