I am the founder of Joybop and Mumbop, two Brighton born movement communities built on joy, music and genuine human connection. I bring people together through dance, rhythm and uplifting movement experiences that help them feel alive, free and fully themselves. What I do is not just fitness and not just for women. It is community, colour, expression, energy and the very necessary act of celebrating ourselves.
I am warm, humorous and a mum of two, with a big heart and a deep care for the world and the humans in it. I love creating judgment free spaces where people can move, laugh, shake, release and feel completely welcome. There is nothing better than that moment when someone catches the beat, lights up from within and dances like no one (or everyone) is watching.
My work has taken me from Brighton studios to festival fields, community halls, business camps and corporate wellbeing days. I have popped up at Glastonbury, Shambala, Elderflower, Caravanserai, Bimble and countless gatherings, always using music and movement to bring people closer. I have run women’s empowerment workshops, outdoor community dance circles and even managed to get NHS staff raving during a wellbeing event.
My approach blends movement with music, nature, colour and deep human connection. I am known to dance and sing wholeheartedly at the odd plant medicine ceremony and that expressive, grounded presence flows into the spaces I create. I celebrate diversity, body positivity and the power of community joy. I am also beginning to plan woodland dance events and I am currently learning to DJ so I can bring even more music, magic and atmosphere to the people I dance with.
At the heart of everything I do is simple.
Joy. Connection. Music. Movement. Community.
Creating spaces where people feel safe, free and fully alive.
That is what lights me up and that is why I do this work.
