Trauma Healing Coach & Trainer | Inspirational Speaker | Empowering Women to Thrive Post-Trauma | Advocating for Psychological Safety as the Next Leadership Frontier

I’m Emily Jacob, a certified coach and Master NLP practitioner with a mission to help women reclaim their lives after trauma and live fully reconnected, joyful lives.

Through ReConnected Life, I’ve empowered over 1,000 survivors, and my online self-help programmes are licensed by 20 Rape Crisis and Survivors Trust charities across the UK, as well as Swansea University (I am actively looking to support more universities in this way).

I combine my unique personal experiences with 25+ years in corporate leadership, working with companies like NatWest, KPMG, Microsoft, Vodafone, O2, and more. I now support visionary corporate leaders to become trauma-informed, addressing the root causes of burnout, stress, and long-term sickness, and fostering resilience and productivity in teams, enhancing team communications, and creating the optimum conditions for innovation and creativity.

I have been featured in the award-winning BAFTA-nominated Channel 5 documentary, Raped: My Story, and I’ve consulted on and appeared in projects for BBC, The Independent, Channel 5 News, and other media. I edited the book To Report or Not to Report, launched at the Houses of Parliament, amplifying the voices of survivors within the (in)justice system.

As a keynote speaker, I’ve shared my story and insights at events such as the Eyestorm Women's Summit, SlutWalk, Reclaim the Night, and the One Woman Conference. I’m currently booking speaking engagements with a focus on leadership, trauma-informed workplaces, and resilience.

What I bring to the table:

• A neurodivergent perspective, as an autistic and queer leader.

• Expertise in innovation, creativity, and communication for navigating complexity.

• A passion for helping others reconnect to joy and purpose.

Through my first company, Curious Decisions, I have a long-term part-time contract with Namecheap as a CRM Manager, working on customer experience insights, customer journeys, development of personas, and leading cross-functional customer programmes.

I live by the sea with my puppy and kitten, navigating life with MS and finding daily inspiration in the resilience of others.
