Co-Women is the joyful networking group for women in business, working with the very best female founders and solopreneurs across Brighton, Hove and Sussex. Our events programme is renowned for being fun and friendly, and we take pride in taking the work out of networking. Here are some of our highlights that are available to book now for late Spring and early Summer of 2023…
The Dominatrix Persona Workshop Something that you really and truly won’t find via any other group. Strictly limited to six spaces, to ensure that you get as much out of this session as possible, you’ll be part of an event which allows you to explore a totally different side of yourself. Tech is strictly prohibited to ensure that all participants can be safe and uninhibited. Whether you’re attending with a view to becoming a professional dominatrix yourself, or because you’d like to feel more empowered within your personality, this workshop will ensure that you meet your goals. Sea Swimming Social Several of our members are firm believers in the benefits of cold water swimming, and Claudine has offered to support us in a social swim. Whilst this session doesn’t involve formal instruction and everyone who participates agrees to swim at their own risk, she will offer advice and support on getting started, and we will share some time together on the beach before taking to the water in order to set an intention. Afterwards, those who would like to are welcome to share breakfast at a café. RSVP here
Nature Drawing Class Later in June, we have a nature drawing class courtesy of member, Cate Grundy. She is a Professor at the University of Sussex, and will be taking us on a guided exploration of drawing nature. Cate will host us at her private studio in Portslade, where this two-hour class will inspire your creative side and allow you the chance to work with different mediums in order to experiment and create your very own nature inspired art. More information and booking is available here
And much more! As always, our regular Chai and Chatter events continue – dates are available to book in June for Hove, Horsham and Brighton – we love the chance to catch up with existing members, and welcome new people into our group at these sessions. You’ll see via our events page that we’re also planning a trip to Ballie Ballerson in London – what could be better of a Friday evening than spending time in a huge ball pit?! – and we’ve also just confirmed a very special edition of an event we’ve held several times in the past.
Our 5Rs event is back and bigger than ever – you can book now, and Jo will also be sharing a full update on this event to tell you even more about why this will be an absolute must-do for Co-Women members and their friends.
Support beyond events Co-Women is a group which chats daily! Outside of events, we love engaging with each other’s social media posts, and answering calls for help and advice via our active WhatsApp group. Whether you need a pet sitter or a stylist, a restaurant recommendation or a cleaner, our group truly seems to know someone for everything and are quick to respond with support. We’re encouraging members to meet up on a one-to-one basis outside of our formal events in order to enhance connection further, and all activities relating to the group are also eligible for our new points scheme, where a leaderboard will run in order to prizes to be given out at our Christmas party. Yes, we used the C word, and no, we don’t care (you can book your place at that too, if you’re feeling super keen!).
There’s only one question left to answer: where will we see you next?!
