Co-Women is a vibrant, inclusive community dedicated to supporting women professionals across Sussex through networking and social events tailored to connect like-minded individuals, foster business growth, and encourage meaningful friendships. Founded by Jo Child in 2020, Co-Women was born out of a need for authentic networking spaces exclusively for women, free from the pressures often felt in mixed-gender environments. Alongside co-founder Becky Hughes, the team champions women’s empowerment, equality, and neurodiversity.
Co-Women provides a diverse calendar of events, including:
1. Chai and Chatter - Informal morning networking sessions across various Sussex locations.
2. Talks at Dinner - Evenings featuring inspiring guest speakers, held in partnership with Team Domenica.
3. Member Social Events - Ten unique events each year designed to bring joy and build lasting connections.
These events have been instrumental in creating a supportive, joyful environment where women can network and grow their businesses in an inclusive and welcoming space.
Sponsorship at Co-Women offers the opportunity to align with a cause that promotes wellness, self-care, and the empowerment of women in business. Our sponsors contribute directly to event funding, member resources, and broader community initiatives that benefit women-led businesses. Sponsorship packages include exclusive branding placements, speaking opportunities, and the chance to engage with our highly active community of professional women.
Sponsorship Levels
Co-Women offers multiple sponsorship levels tailored to meet diverse engagement goals:
• Per Event Sponsorship (£350): Includes logo placement, social media mentions, and event speaking opportunities.
• Annual Sponsorship (£10,000): Provides comprehensive brand exposure through the Co-Women website, social media, and newsletter, along with blog and speaking engagements.
• Membership Sponsorship (£660 per membership): Supports our “Pay It Forward” program, offering sponsored memberships to women in marginalized communities, enabling wider access to resources and opportunities.
Our Commitment to Team Domenica
Co-Women is proud to partner with Team Domenica, a charity supporting young adults with learning disabilities in finding employment. Through this partnership, we have committed to a £5,000 fundraising goal, helping to promote awareness and increase opportunities for individuals facing unique challenges.
Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, Co-Women envisions expanding nationally and establishing a dedicated women-only space for coworking, events, and relaxation, a place where women can connect, collaborate, and thrive without constraint.
